What is Messy Church?
Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. It’s primarily for people who don’t already belong to another form of church. It meets at a time and a place that suits people who don’t already belong to church.
What do we do at Messy Church?
Thank you to everybody who came to our Messy Church Halloween Light Party this afternoon. We were very busy tonight with lots of local children dressed in amazing costumes joining in the fun making a variety of different crafts all based on the theme of shining our light for Jesus. We ended the session with a couple of worship songs and a short prayer. A big thank you to our wonderful team of leaders and helpers who worked so hard to make the event such a big success.
Our next Messy Church on Sunday 7th December from 4- 6pm. Here there will be lots of Christmas crafts including a Christingle workshop. This will be followed by a short Christingle service. A collection for the Children’s Society will be taken during the session. Hope to see you there.
